About Us
Our mission:
“To worship God as a loving community that grows in faith and shares the gospel of Christ.”

Bethlehem Lutheran Church (BLC) is a welcoming family to travelers and transplants, students and teachers, locals and internationals. We are a small group of Christians who humbly yearn to confidently serve Jesus. And, we would love to be there for you.

The church has been a part of the Monterey Bay Peninsula community for nearly 100 years; founded on Christian beliefs and principles as discerned by The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. Members and Nonmembers are welcome to join us for Sunday worship at 10am and various activities through-out the week. There is no dress code and we have coffee!
Serving the community
With a heart to serve the community, BLC joined the Monterey Bay Peninsula Chamber of Commerce and became an official organization of the Blue Zones Project in 2022. We support I-HELP, NA, AA, Al-Anon, and local families through our “Adopt-A-Family” program.
We are a home where people can gather to grow in faith. If you have a need or ideas on how we can serve others, please do not hesitate to reach out.
